Standard Terms of Service

These standard Terms and Conditions govern the logistics, transport, warehousing, and value-added supply chain services provided by Arbuda Logistics. By visiting our site or commissioning our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the terms outlined below.

1. Scope of Services & Quotations

Arbuda Logistics provides customized warehousing storage, palletized racking, order processing, picking, packing, labeling, and regional/national transport distribution services. All formal service agreements are subject to:

  • Individual, written commercial contracts detailing rates, volumes, billing terms, and cargo limits.
  • Physical cargo verification to ensure packaging meets transport and safety standards.
  • Quotations provided on this website are estimates only, and formal pricing is locked upon review of direct requirements.

2. Restricted Cargo and Prohibited Goods

Clients are strictly responsible for declaring the nature of stored or transported cargo. Arbuda Logistics does not handle, store, or transport the following items under our standard terms:

  • Hazardous chemical substances, volatile explosives, or radioactive compounds.
  • Contraband, smuggled cargo, illegal contraband, or items prohibited by state/federal laws.
  • Perishables requiring deep-freeze storage unless specialized climate control agreements are executed.

3. Payment Terms and Late Interest

Unless otherwise stated in the custom logistics service contract, invoices are generated monthly. Payment terms are net 30 days from the invoice issuance date. Delayed payments will attract a late fee interest of 1.5% per month on the overdue balance, plus administrative collection expenses.

4. Liability and Cargo Insurance

While Arbuda Logistics maintains robust security protocols, all clients are strongly advised to secure third-party insurance for their cargo. Our liability for loss or damage is limited strictly as follows:

  • We are not liable for damage arising from Force Majeure events, natural disasters, floods, civil unrest, or governmental restrictions.
  • Our physical liability is defined strictly by our carrier transport bills and warehouse storage receipt documents.

5. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any legal dispute arising from our services will be subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Mumbai/Thane, Maharashtra.

6. Policy Amendments

Arbuda Logistics reserves the right to amend or update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The date of the latest modification will be indicated at the top of this page. Continued usage of our website or logistical services indicates agreement with the updated terms.
